Medical insurance programs are divided into two main categories:
- Group Medical Insurance: Covers a group of individuals within institutions or companies.
- Individual Medical Insurance: Covers individuals independently or with their families.

Medical treatment is covered within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Claims incurred outside Jordan are reimbursed according to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.
Coverage is available for individuals of all age groups up to 65 years old and for all nationalities.
This coverage includes all medical expenses incurred during hospitalization, as follows:
- Inpatient accommodation according to the selected class and program.
- Intensive care unit (ICU) and treatment of coronary artery diseases.
- Fees for the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
- Hospital services including surgery, operating room, medications, laboratory tests, radiology, etc.
- Use of hospital medical equipment, such as heart-lung support systems, and more.
- Injections and intravenous treatments, etc.
- Laboratory tests and diagnostics, X-rays, ECGs, CT scans, and more.
- Various treatments including physiotherapy, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, etc.
- Physician visits related to the primary reason for hospital admission.
- Private nursing care, if medically necessary.
- Childbirth and newborn care.
- Ambulance services, if medically necessary.
- Accommodation expenses for an accompanying person of a covered member under the age of thirteen.
- Autopsy expenses in the event of the member's death during hospitalization due to a non-excluded illness or physical injury.
This coverage is optional and only becomes effective upon selection. It includes the following:
- Medical Consultation Fees, including:
Diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribed medications, and physiotherapy for non-excluded medical conditions that require a physician’s consultation. - Diagnostic Tests, including:
X-rays, laboratory tests, MRI scans, CT scans, intravenous and/or intramuscular injections administered by the physician for treatment purposes, all types of endoscopy procedures if requested for diagnostic purposes only, as well as any other tests performed for diagnostic reasons. - Medications, including:
Drug treatments that involve officially registered and approved medications, prescribed as part of recognized medical treatments. - Physiotherapy:
Treatment aimed at rehabilitating the insured through physiotherapy sessions as determined by the attending specialist physician and deemed medically necessary for the condition.
